I think the judges are quite a bit less lenient up here... The cop ALWAYS shows up, too -- which is their word versus yours, and we all know how well THAT works... :notamused:

I've never known anyone out here -- even those who brought ticket defense lawyers -- to have gotten out of a ticket. They are real dicks in Chicago and its 'burbs. Most corrupt area in the country, remember? Thank God our next President is from around here...... :doh:

I've never gotten a ticket for anything else in my life, LOL! Always speeding...

But yeah... Basically, I was at a stoplight in front in the left lane, and some douche in a minivan with others behind him were in the right lane. I was going to work, and needed to turn right about a 1/4 mile or so ahead. So, the light turns green, I flip on my signal, give it a little gas to get in front, and the asshat in the minivan floors it so I can't get in front of him. Of course, there's no room/time to wait and get in behind him and the rest of the cars (not to mention I'd piss off everyone else in MY lane)...

So, I did what anyone ELSE would have done: punched my 280hp AWD turbo and got in front of his bitch ass... As soon as I got into the lane, I slowed back down to within 5MPH of the speed limit (which had the guy on my ass and pissed off). I turned into the business complex where I work, and I had some bitch of a cop blaring her lights on me... She said I was going 54 in a 35... She was mean about it too, saying "I could barely keep up with you, were you EVER going to stop???" like I was street racing or something... :icon_rolleyes:

I have now seen her almost every other day parked in the parking lot radaring people and 1/2 THOSE times with someone pulled over. And I JUST read some article in one of my mags about states/counties/cities/etc making cops give out more tickets to raise funds in this shit economy... So yeah, take OUR money to pay for YOUR own inept handling of the budget... It really grinds my gears... :rant2:
