That's right you won't be allowed to smoke indoors unless you are a gambler or a mental patient.

All this while Arnold has a smoking tent

What about your own house?
Reminds me of a Dennis Leary stand up act. You must know which one I'm thinking about.

Illinois passed a statewide public smoking ban that went into effect January 2008. And yes, that includes bars and such. And yes, it made me extremely happy! I absolutely ABHOR smoke... I was able to actually ENJOY going out to clubs and stuff without feeling like I was sick and slept inside a chimney all night...

I say ban 'em everywhere... They serve absolutely ZERO purpose except to give smokers extra breaks at work (which also pissed me off).

Al, Noles, and I are coming to visit..... an we're going to bring a few hundred cartons. Hope you don't mind us hanging out in the garage. Hopefully all that smoke won't make your pretty little snake skins fall off the tank of your bike. We'll also try to keep the doors closed so the smoke doesn't make it outside, or in the house. If you could slide some fruit roll-ups under the door every now and then, that would be great. I can't think of any other type of food that could be supplied without allowing the smoke out. If the smoke makes it's way through the walls....don't worry..... we'll probably survive only a few days. I'm sure you won't mind and the smell will eventually stop. :hooray:

I'll throw in some meat, that way you guys can not only eat it, but you can slow-smoke it at the same time!

Shit, I'd put up with the smoke if YOU guys visited!

Scott stick with it man. I quit 10 years ago and after the first three weeks I noticed that my body began to recover from the abuse. What helped me was not trying to think about it as stopping smoking forever but just not having the next one.

I'm there with ya buddy you won't regret it.

I don't see what's wrong with having a place where everyone shares a common link... Kinda like... Oh, I dunno -- OUR MOTORCYCLE SITES!!!

Don't be such a douche, it helps to have a support system with other like-minded people with the same sort of problems. It also helps to not feel alone. Hell, you could say our bike sites are for our OWN addiction to riding, LOL! :smug:

Not to mention, Scott, by publicly letting us all know on here that you are indeed trying to quit -- you are no different from those "crybabies" on that site! :raspberry:

Touche, agreed.

I guess the same could be said. I'd most likely sound like a "c*nt" over an issue with my bike.

The problem with sites like that is if you keep talking about it long enough that just makes you miss it more. Take AA meetings, I've been to a few hundred. Why would you want to set a hear so many sad stories. That alone would drive me back to the bottle.

So basically if I follow along with your theory.... I shouldn't be on here.

I suppose you could take up smoking those electronic cigarettes.

Just a thought.
