I wonder how much it would cost to get rid of the ugly ass headlights?

You know, in that pic, I can't even see the headlights! But overall, it's not a bad looking bike. And as far as price goes.... it's not too terrible.

That's because in that picture it has race plastics fitted.
Looks like :gah:

I read about it in the latest Cycle World recently, and it sounds like it kicks major ass!
It was/is a really good issue, too -- since it has the Ten Best Bikes, a sorta Superbike (1000+ cc) comparo (as MasterBike was cancelled this year due to the economy), and some other good stuff. I highly recommend picking it up for a good read!

The design department at BMW have always gone out of their way sparing no expense to find new ways to make their bikes ugly. There is a department devoted to making headlights asymmetrical, and another that is perfecting the design of their engines so they sit outside the running lines of the bike.

Odd idea for headlights. I'd still cruise one though  Althought the front kind of looks like an R6 ate a ZX14

Decent price, and the picture of it in track trim looks pretty sweet actually!

In track trim it does look sweet... Unoriginal, but sweet nevertheless.

I just went looking for the photo from Cycle World this month. From above it looks as narrow as a 675. And if the claimed weight is anywhere near accurate........... Damm

I like the track trim - which is why the headlights didn't seem so obvious (because they aren't there....:raspberry:) but in the other pic... ohhh... yeah, like Marko said - pretty ugly.
I'd still own one.

wouldnt be hard at all to put SV650 headlights or similar in there, just a little dremel work and some mount fabbing....sweet bike.
