Just wtf!?!? I know that legally the KKK can rally and rant but we all know their just a bunch of dumb rednecks. These people do not believe in freedom or democracy. So what are your thoughts on this?
(no piss matches please)

A group committed to establishing an international Islamic empire and reportedly linked to Al Qaeda is stepping up its Western recruitment efforts by holding its first official conference in the U.S.
Hizb ut-Tahrir is a global Sunni network with reported ties to confessed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Al Qaeda in Iraq's onetime leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. It has operated discreetly in the U.S. for decades.
Now, it is coming out of the shadows and openly hosting a July 19 conference entitled, "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam," at a posh Hilton hotel in a suburb of Chicago.

I did not click the link, just read your excerpt. I don't get it. Basically, the Hilton by hosting this, knowingly, is therefore endorsing terrorism in the same way that some dumb asses here on the East Coast endorse terrorism in Northern Ireland by brandishing their cars with IRA decals. Fucking idiots.

From what I got from the article they are 'possibly' linked to Al Qaeda, but are sympathizers to the group. But yes just like people having IRA stickers on their cars.

Sounds like Chicago.... And yet we can't carry guns or do practically anythign else... :icon_rolleyes:
I don't expect anything less from the city that launched Obama...
Fox News is mainly "entertaining" to me.. and I use that in a very very broad sense of the word.
Anybody know the Jesse Watters episode?
And I'd like to NOT get started on Fox news.
Here's one.. Glenn *Diva* Beck is ALL up in arms how the Nation is BURNING to the ground and still NOBODY actually questioned Sotomayor.
It's the FIRST DAY OF HEARINGS dumbass.. it's meant for statements, questions come later.

Agreed. I think people need to really think about things...today people broadcast too much opinion and not enough of the facts or strong case points.

This is NOT something I blame on the media. The REAL blame falls squarely on the naive, uninformed, gullible, biased, "it's-on-TV/the-Internet-or-I-got-a-chain-email-so-it-must-be-true" general masses (AKA "Sheeple"). It is up to the individual to find the facts for themselves and get educated, and not listen to one single blowhard or blogger. It really "grinds my gears" to hear some people talk about politics and such, as all they do is spout back the (usually liberal) BS that they heard once on the nightly "news"... They are actually worse in my mind than the types who just don't care enough to learn what's really going on out there by burying their heads in the sand and ignoring everything outside their little bubble. :icon_rolleyes:
This is of course, my humble opinion. :icon_wink:
