Something I don't get - this appears to be a fairly common injury, I read Fastbikes mag and Superbikes mag in the UK, they feature injuries in each issue and the number of bloody times I see pics of folk with no finger/s who've done exactly this!?!

Seems so common almost that once upon a time it might have been an accepted way of cleaning your chain...otherwise I can't work it out, certainly not the first technique that springs to my mind when the chain needs lubing/cleaning
