I'm so disappointed - weak pound

For many years I've wanted to visit the Smokies. And I thought it was looking good for next summer. Found flights from Manchester to Knoxville, even found a place to rent. Here's the gaff:

and then the pound started falling, falling, falling. It woudl be hideously expensive now. Well and truly pissed off.

I'm sure it will rebound in the near future the way our economy is going.

Also as a suggestion, it maybe worth flying into a larger airport and driving up. I live in Atlanta and we're about 4 hours from Gatlinburg. I bet flights would be cheaper into Atlanta airport. Just a thought.

+1 you could also fly into nashville, which in and of itself is very much worth seeing.
